INTRODUCTION:
Kearsarge
Regional High School offers an Adult Diploma Program for adolescents
and adults who have been unable to succeed in a traditional high school
setting.
PROGRAM GOAL:
The
fundamental goal of the Kearsarge Adult Diploma Program (KADP) is to
make it possible for students (16 years of age or older) to complete
their high school education by providing an accommodating and
supportive environment where the groundwork is laid for success in
either post-secondary education or the job market.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Each
student can learn, achieve, and participate as a responsible community
member. The mission of KADP is to provide a school environment which
accepts each person as an individual and guarantees opportunities for
his/her intellectual, social, emotional and physical development.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES:
The
adult program enrolls approximately 50 students from the greater
Kearsarge region. All enrolled students must meet
the graduation requirements of the program. Although we are not a GED
site, students can take classes through this program to prepare for the
exam.
