BLIZZARD BAG INFO!
THANK YOU for your participation in the Blizzard Bag Program. We will have FIVE Blizzard Bag days planned for the 2012-13 year!
This is the fourth year of the program and I can't tell you how VERY excited I am about this important educational initiative! It's part of the Kearsarge Extended Learning Network. We are implementing a new initiative which could change the educational landscape in our state. Our K-students have the opportunity to experience independent, hands-on, experiential learning. It also sets the stage for life-long learning, starting in kindergarten!
Your Blizzard Bag information will be listed HERE on my website and sent home in a physical bag (in case you are unable to access the web!). You may choose to complete lessons online or on paper! All Blizzard Bag lessons are expected to be returned the NEXT day we return to school.
Teachers and administrators are looking for direct feedback about your child's experience on Blizzard Bag days. Thank you for completing the Parent/Care-provider Assessment Sheet honest input, your opinion counts!
We have FIVE days worth of Blizzard Bag lessons for 2012-201. Blizzard Bag days are determined by Superintendent Jerry Frew and parents will be notified via the AlertNow system (a call will be placed to your home).
