Welcome to another year. There have been some important changes in the roles of the guidance staff for this school year. Beth Stern will be working with freshmen and sophomores whose last name begins with L-Z. She will also work with her juniors (last name D-L) for the first half of the year. They will then transition to Peter Angus, who will focus on post-secondary planning. Paul Foster will work with freshmen and sophomores whose last name begins with A-K and will continue working with his juniors (last name A-C) for the first half of the year when they will also transition to Peter Angus. Mr. Angus will also work with all the seniors.
COLLEGE BOOT CAMP FOR THE CLASS OF 2014 August 19-21st 5:30-6:30pm held at KRHS, free of cost to KRHS students. By attending the KRHS College Boot Camp you will receive necessary help to begin the college process moving forward. You can expect to: Get a refresher on using Naviance, receive help growing your college list and help with the college search process, write,review,refine, or complete your college essay, start your common application, discuss the college interview, research the key people to contact for your school, how to set up a college tour and figure out what SAT test you need to take.
KRHS SUMMER SCHOOL Registration for students attending summer school will be held on Wednesday June 19th at 10:00am. If you need to recover a failed class, see Ms Stern or call guidance (927-2313).
