PRESS RELEASE - Kearsarge welcomes new Assistant Superintendent for July 1.

At the March 10, 2016, School Board meeting, Mr. Michael A. Bessette, MEd, was nominated as the new Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the Kearsarge Regional School District – SAU 65. His new appointment will be effective July 1, 2016.

Mr. Bessette comes to us from Hopkinton where he has served as Principal of the Maple Street School in Hopkinton for the past fourteen years, which is a Grade 4 - 6 school consisting of 225 students. He began his educational career as a middle school science teacher and also held the position of assistant principal at both the middle and elementary school levels. Mr. Bessette is also an Adjunct Professor at New England College in Henniker.

 Mr. Bessette received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and his Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of New Hampshire. He is currently pursuing his CAGS degree at Plymouth State University.
