DAF - 1 - ADMINISTRATION OF FEDERAL GRANTS - ALLOWABILITY

ALLOWABILITY

Allowable costs developed in grant award application and requests, budgeted, awarded and expended for grants identified as federally funded, whether directly or by pass-though (Department or Agency of the State of New Hampshire), shall comply with U.S. Title 2, Part 200, specifically Subpart E.  In general, costs related to such grants must always be “necessary, reasonable and allocable,” and each item and amount must conform with federal (and state and local) laws and regulations and the terms of the grant and the procedures for such must also be consistent to state and local policies and adequately documented.
