GCB - Professional Staff Contracts

THIS POLICY HAS BEEN REPEALED BY THE SCHOOL BOARD 5/2/2013.


Contracts are required to protect the interests of the employee and the School District. It is the duty of the School Board to ensure that standard contract forms conform to all applicable laws, statutes, and agreements paying particular attention to the explicit statement of all clauses in order to avoid any misunderstandings between the signatories. Every permanent professional employee shall be required to execute a contract with the School District. The contract shall be signed by the employee and the Chairperson of the School Board.
