JJIC - Co-curricular Academic Eligibility / Support
Students will be academically eligibility to participate in co-curricular activities at the Kearsarge Regional High School by meeting the following standards:
- The Student must pass five (5) courses each quarter and the GPA for all courses taken in that quarter must be a minimum of 2.0
- If the student passes five (5) courses and has a quarter or trimester GPA of less than 2.0, the student will be considered conditionally eligible for the next five weeks. To maintain eligibility after that time period, a positive effort and grade improvement must be demonstrated by the student and evaluated by the Principal and Athletic Director.
Monitoring of academic status will take place through both progress reports and grade reports. “If difficulty appears, the parent or guardian will be notified and a meeting held with student and parent. The student will be referred to the study center and attend supervised study sessions in the Resource Center.
