Whether you like to work behind the scenes, simply lend a hand or are ready to lead an event, you can help! No members or memberships, just people working together to make Sutton Central great!

The primary purpose of Friends/PTO events is to enrich the experience of Sutton Central School education for students & families.

Fundraising efforts provide vital funds for school programs that enhance student learning and achievement. These programs include field trips, winter activities, classroom supplies and other programs, like our yearly artist in residence.

The Friends/PTO provide support for things like:

  • SCS Garden of Eatin'
  • Outdoor CLassroom
  • Playground Equipment and Maintenance
  • School-wide events:
    • Spring Concert
    • Talent Show
    • Fun Day
    • Winter Activities Scholarships
    • Neighbors'/Grandparents' Lunch
    • Teacher Appreciation Week
    • Reading Challenge/Literacy Drive
    • Holiday Make-a-Gift Fair

In-school Enrichment Programs:

  • T.I.G.E.R
  • Hampstead Players
  • Veteran’s Day Assembly
  • Memorial Day Assembly
  • Artist in Residence

Class Field Trips to:

  • Spring Ledge Farm
  • Muster Field Farm
  • Seacoast Science Center
  • Boston Museum of Science
  • Fort at #4
  • Kearsarge Indian Museum
  • Capital Center for the Arts
  • 5th Grade Urban Field Trip

All School Field Trips to places like:

  • VINS Nature Center
  • Stonewall Farm
  • Squam Lake Science Center
  • Montshire Museum of Science
  • Billings Farm & Museum

Fundraisers:

  • Strut in Sutton Annual 5k 'Round Kezar Lake
  • Garden of Eatin’ Farmer’s Market
  • Flower/Bulb/Seed Sale
  • Book Fair / Centerpiece Sale at Grandparents Lunch
  • Square 1 Art
  • Box Top Collection

In addition to these events, some others to look forward to include: movie night, game nights and more!

Do you have some great ideas or do you just want to know more about what's happening? Attend a monthly Friends/PTO meeting via Zoom at 7pm on the last Wednesday of each month.
