Balloons Over Broadway

5th graders were inspired by reading the book Balloons Over Broadway to create Macy’s Day Parade balloons with various limited and unlimited supplies. One of the constraints of this STEM project was that the balloons be held from below to create the illusion that they were indeed floating down the streets of New York City or in our case down the halls of our school.
