Sutton Notice of Lead Exceedance

Dear SCS Community,

Recent legislation lowered the acceptable threshold of lead present in water. Upon recent testing at Sutton Central School, it was discovered that a source of water within a kitchen sink and girls bathroom sink exceeded the acceptable levels of Lead. This source of water was not a drinking fountain or used for consumption. We have posted a reminder to all staff/students to not drink any water from this source.  We are working to remediate this as soon as possible. Please see attached letter from our water testing company with more information.
