Field Trips

Throughout the year, teachers expand upon the usual classroom curriculum by offering innovative and off-site alternatives that spark student interest and help to reinforce a particular topic. These informal activities can be structured as isolated projects -- a one-day excursion to a nearby attraction -- or integrated into a broader class plan that includes pre- and post-trip assignments. All of our field trips are a learning experience and an opportunity for socialization away from the classroom. The KRES at Bradford PTO provides funds for our school field trips! Thank You!

Winter Activities

During the winter, on five Friday afternoons, Bradford students attend Winter Activities. There are three options from which to choose: skiing, snowshoeing and ice-skating. Any student can participate in any of the three activities and once an activity is chosen, he/she continues with that activity for the 5 weeks.

Skiers go to Mt. Sunapee, ice-skaters go to New England College and the students who snowshoe explore the trails right here in our Bradford School backyard.

Bradford students in 4th and 5th grade have a wonderful opportunity each year to participate in a drama production. Our very own Mrs. Katie Perkins is in charge of the Shining Stars program. Watch for more information on how to get involved if you are interested.
