Course Registration 2026 - 2027

Course Registration Timeline and Process - The course registration process for the 2026-2027 school year has begun and will be open to requests until Friday, February 20th, 2026 at which time the schedule build process begins. KRHS takes great pride in providing opportunities for students to personalize their educational experience.  A full description of all opportunities can be found in the KRHS Program of Studies.  Student registration for courses begins each year during the month of February.  Information begins being posted and available to families with informational sessions in late January to early February each school year.  Informational sessions are posted on our district facebook page, emailed to incoming freshmen parents, and provided to students and families at the high school through email.

Once the schedule build process has begun, usually in early to mid April, course requests are closed until the master schedule is built and committed to.  After this process is complete, changing or adding course requests may be completed and are filled as available seats exist up until the first bell of the first day of school.  Students registering for school after the first bell on the first day of school may only register for courses with open seats.

While speciality opportunities, such as ELOs, CTE, and dual enrollment programs are discussed at these informational sessions, each program has its own deadlines and application processes.  These deadlines and procedures are maintained by their respective program coordinators and are consulted with in order for KRHS to get information out to students and families. To qualify for acceptance into these programs, students must follow all procedures and deadlines to ensure their best chance at acceptance and having the course fit into their schedule.
