The Kearsarge Regional School District is pleased to announce the commencement of the Open Enrollment period for Kearsarge Regional High School (KRHS) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This program is conducted under the official authority of New Hampshire State Law NH RSA 194-D and Kearsarge Regional School Board Policy JFABA. These guidelines and the associated application process apply exclusively to enrollment at Kearsarge Regional High School.
For the 2026-2027 school year, Kearsarge Regional High School has established a limit of 30 available seats for the Open Enrollment program. Please note that this availability is restricted to KRHS and does not extend to other schools within the district.
Eligibility and Residency Requirements:
To qualify for the Open Enrollment program, prospective students must reside in a town that maintains a policy permitting students to depart their resident district for Open Enrollment purposes. In accordance with NH RSA 194-D and School Board Policy JFABA, all applications will undergo a formal screening process. This process includes a verification of residency and a review of the applicant’s eligibility to depart their home district to ensure all legal and policy requirements are met before an application is moved forward to the selection phase.

Please adhere to the following mandatory timeline for the 2026-2027 enrollment cycle. Applications received outside of the specified window will not be considered.

Lottery and Notification Process:
In the event that the number of qualified applicants exceeds the 30-seat capacity, the District will conduct a lottery by the July 10, 2026, deadline to determine enrollment offers. All applicants will be notified of their enrollment status via mail or email no later than July 15, 2026.

*Note: In order to complete the online application, registrants will need to have:
- PDF copies of the student's most recent report card and transcript
- PDF with proof of residency (one or more): utility bill, lease/mortgage, driver's license, or signed
residency affidavit - PDF of most current IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
- PDF of Most Recent Standardized Testing Results (optional)
