KRHS Students are Winners of Center For the Arts Writing Contest

The Center For the Arts (CFA) is Excited to Announce the Winners of the Teen Writing Contest for 2025, to be held at the CFA center at 428 Main St, New London on February 12 at 5:00 PM

The Center For the Arts (CFA) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2025 Teen Writers Project! In a competitive year of outstanding works and with close to 50 submissions,  experienced writer, educator, and juror Tom Coverdale selected winning entries in each of three categories: Poetry, Fiction and Non-Fiction.

The awards ceremony will be held at the CFA’s center at 428 Main St, New London (the parking lot is behind the building, as is the main CFA entrance, accessed by the drive between Little Brothers and Switchback consignment).  A highlight of the ceremony will be live readings of the award-winning work. In addition to the live readings, each award-winning author will receive 10 copies of a bound book containing all of the winning entries, an award certificate, and prizes. 

The CFA looks forward to seeing the award winners, their families, friends and teachers at the event, and hopefully a large number of the other submitting authors as well, to show support for our talented young writers.
