KI - Visitors to Schools

The Kearsarge Regional School District School Board considers all persons, other than staff and pupils enrolled in the school, who may come to the school for any reason during the school day visitors.  All visitors must utilize the school facilities managed entry buzzer or communication systems to receive permission to access the school by school personnel and, immediately upon being permitted entry to the facility, sign in at the school office.  Employees of the school system (directors, coordinators, maintenance staff members, and others) are required to advise the school Principal or office personnel of their presence in the building.

Any visitors wishing to meet with an employee of the school shall do so only at a time when it does not interrupt the normal school program or operations. Visitors may request a meeting with staff member by securing an appointment with the individual through the office of the Principal or by direct communication with the employee.

No person shall visit a school without first reporting and registering their intended visit with the office of the Principal. All visitors are required to sign in to the building registering their legal name, and the employee subject to the visit, and the location of the meeting.
