Family Ambassador Program
What is a Family Ambassador?
Family Ambassadors are parents or guardians of current KRSD students, whose children are receiving special education services. These parents serve on our KRSD Parent Partnership Group and work closely with Special Education Administrators to provide support to other families, identify community resources, plan educational workshops on current topics and areas of interest, and assist in engaging families in partnership building efforts. It is the goal of Family Ambassadors to help families connect with the school district, to create positive connections between families, and to support the Kearsarge District’s efforts to gain valuable family and community feedback regarding our students’ needs, in order to continue to work collaboratively towards the KRSD vision.
